Jon Walkington has 25 years’ experience across Retail, FMCG, Mobile and Financial Services, holding senior roles in Marketing, Strategy, Commercial and Sales for 20 of these years.

A driving force behind the mass adoption of mobile phones in the late 90s, Jon was also central to the success of prepaid gift cards creating a multi-million dollar business serving numerous recognisable retail brands in over 50 countries worldwide. In 2014 Jon joined First Data, one of the World’s leading payment providers as Director, was promoted to Vice President and left serving as General Manager, Prepaid for EMEA and APAC regions.

Jon joined Apex in October, 2016 to help the company leverage its significant assets and consumer know-how and address the growing need for supply chain optimisation within retail Click & Collect and other order pick-up business models.
