ROUNDTABLE 1

The impact of Brexit and IOSS to your business

This roundtable will provide a fantastic opportunity for directors and department heads to share their experiences and challenges around Brexit and IOSS.

Almost one year on, what has been the impact of Brexit and IOSS to your business? Has it boosted your cross-border online trade or has it left you feeling overwhelmed by the practicalities of selling online and internationally?

This session is targeted at ‘Heads of’ and ‘Director’ level of supply chain, fulfilment, logistics, inventory, operations, carriers, delivery or eCommerce. Essentially, senior executives who are involved in distribution.

Please note: this is for retailers and brands only.

ROUNDTABLE 2

The role of the retailer in offering the right payment solution for the individual customer

Over the past two years the way consumers shop and how they like to pay has changed. The adjustment in consumer demands and needs and the boom in eCommerce has meant retailers have had to evolve to provide convenient, flexible payment solutions in order remain competitive.

On Wednesday 11 May at 1pm Barclays Partner Finance will host a roundtable where a carefully selected group will discuss the role of the retailer in the payment journey.  What it means to be a responsible lender, to ensure the customer can actually afford their purchase? The positives of adding friction to give customers the time to assess their choice of payment, and how to work in partnership with your retail finance provider to provide the best outcomes for you and your customers.

This session is targeted at 'C-Suite', ‘Heads of’ and ‘Director’ level of finance, procurement, sales, operations and IT. Essentially anyone involved in their eCommerce payments solutions.

Please note: this is for retailers and brands only.

ROUNDTABLE 3

Using data and technology to drive customer experience decisions

"According to research by Esteban Kolsky, 67% of customers report bad experiences as a reason for churn, but only 1 out of 26 unhappy customers complain. 91% of those unhappy non-complainers simply leave."

"McKinsey: Research tells us that organizations that leverage customer behavioral insights outperform peers by 85 percent in sales growth and more than 25 percent in gross margin."

In this roundtable we will examine how important the delegates believe customer experience is to its eCommerce strategy, and whether they believe it helps outperform its competitors. We discover whether their customer experience decisions are based on data or based on insights derived from that data, and the importance of differentiating between the two. We will then focus on the culture of a retailer or brand: who drives optimisation? The marketing team or the techies or both? Are the teams given the freedom to experiment, or is it frowned upon within the organisation?
