Synopsis

What will be the impact of GDPR on customer analytics for omni-channel retailing?
 
Retailers have come to rely on the power of big data analytics and machine learning to increase sales and maximise profits across different channels, but how will current analytics tools cope with the new regulations under GDPR.
 
From May this year GDPR will introduce significant changes into the laws around capturing, storing and processing customer data. In this workshop we will look at the impact of these changes on customer analytics, and look at ways to keep benefiting from customer data without falling foul of the law.

• Understand which parts of GDPR internet retailers need to worry about;

• Understand the consequences of GDPR for traditional approaches to customer analytics;

• Specifically look at how having multiple stores of customer data in different apps increases the risk for    GDPR;

• Learn how using a single central store of customer data can make compliance with GDPR easier and less costly
